A former infantryman in the United States Army, Fred long dreamed of being a U.S. Marshall or a Homicide detective in a big city. Now selling insurance in Lake Charles, Fred enjoys spending his free time boiling crawfish, watching football, traveling, and anything that does not involve reality TV. Fred is a graduate of both Barbe High School and McNeese State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. If Fred could be a reality TV star he would be Lord Disick.

After mastering the art of coffee brewing, Marissa decided to follow in her sisters footsteps and dive into the insurance industry head first. Probably the best hunter and fisher at The Simmons Group, Marissa enjoys spending her free time in the outdoors. Amanda finally made the move from Lafayette in the summer of 2017 to join her husband as he embarked on a new career here in Lake Charles. Originally a Wampus Cat from Leesville, she married her high school classmate, Kenny Hughes, in June 2006. After an elaborate honeymoon to Jamaica, they came back with a souvenir they weren’t expecting and welcomed a 9lb 8oz baby boy, 9 months later. Kenny and Amanda are one hit wonders, with their only child, Cooper. An avid shopper and sports fanatic- if she’s not spending money at target or the mall, you can find her at Tiger Stadium in the fall or Alex Box in the spring cheering on the Tigers. Even though she attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, you can find her wearing royal blue and gold while supporting the McNeese Cowboys. Amanda has been in insurance since August 2005. She joined The Simmons Group in September 2018 to help with the growth in its personal lines department.
After Desiree’ got her 37th flat on her beloved Elantra -rest in peace Elantraya- she decided it was time to broaden her horizons and take a leap of faith in a new direction. Her assistant job at the hospital wasn’t paying nearly enough for her awful driving record, therefore, she took on a new job at The Simmons Group. Not sure where this new road would lead, (hopefully without a flat) she put her determination in success and became very interested in insurance. With helpful employers/employees, boundless knowledge, and limitless possibilities, she is now studying to take her insurance test to become an agent. Upon being a housewife but not a wife, she spends her free time picking up after her extremely clean and organized boyfriend, cooking experiments, hanging out with family and friends, and of course, working out by changing her flats. She will never ever turn down wine, nuggets, cheese dip, or a good time. She may be the youngest on our team but I guarantee, she’ll out flat you any day.
